The General Assembly of the Islamic World Academy of Sciences (IAS) has - at its latest meeting held online on 30 October 2025- ratified the results of the 2025 IAS Fellowship Elections, which revealed that nine candidates were awarded the IAS Fellowship. The elected Fellows are:

2. Prof. Mushtaq Ahmad (Pakistan)
3. Prof. Ahmad Zaharin Aris (Malaysia)
4. Prof. Yarub Al-Douri (Iraq)
5. Prof. Tengku Aizan Hamid (Malaysia)
6. Prof. Sardar Khan (Pakistan)
7. Prof. Md. Shuza Uddin (Bangladesh)
8. Prof. Koichi Unami (Japan)
9. Prof. Mohammad Wasay (Pakistan)
